How to get around.

Short answers for when you’re already inside and trying to do something. Still deciding whether to sign up? The questions page is the better read.

Making a companion

From your chat list, + New opens the catalogue. Start one of ours, or make your own. Making your own goes two ways: write her yourself — a name, a look, who she is to you, whatever history you want her to have — or have one generated for you, which comes out different every time.

You also choose what kind she is. A Companion is for the everyday: she treats your life as real and the relationship builds. A Story is fiction you step into together. The two never get confused with each other, and you can keep both. Up to fifty in all.

Giving her a photo

Open her profile. You can upload a picture, or describe one and have it made — and keep going until it looks like the person you had in mind. There are two: her picture, and the wider cover behind it.

Changing her later

Her profile is where you edit her. Changing her never wipes what the two of you have been through. You can rewrite her name, her look, her whole history, and she still remembers your conversations. Nothing on that screen resets her memory of you — the things below are the ones that do.

Starting over, or ending it

Four things sound similar and are not. Three of them live behind the “…” on her row in your chat list; the last is on your own page.

What you pressWhat goesWhat stays
Clear historyin her “…” menuYour conversation with her, and everything she learned from it.She does. Same name, same personality, same photo, same story — she simply doesn’t remember what the two of you talked about.
Resetin her “…” menuYour edits and your whole history together. The character you originally chose, exactly as she came. Only offered for companions started from the catalogue: one you wrote yourself has no original to go back to.
Deletein her “…” menuHer, your conversations, her memories, her profile and her photos.Your account, and every other companion you have.
Delete accountin your You pageYour profile, every companion, and every conversation.Nothing.

None of the four can be undone, and each one asks you to confirm before it happens. Deleting is as complete as we can make it, but it isn’t absolute: we keep the few records the law requires us to keep, and copies can sit in routine backups for a short while before they’re overwritten. The Privacy Policy sets out the exact terms.

Settings that change how she talks

Open You from your chat list. Under Chat:

  • SFW protection — on by default. Turning it off lets a conversation follow adult content you choose to lead.
  • Multi-message reply — she answers in a few short messages, the way people text, instead of one long block.
  • Stream messages — watch her reply appear as it’s written, or have each message land complete.

These are yours, not hers: they apply to every companion you have, and you can change them back at any time.

Your guide

Simon and Simone are guides, not companions. They’re there for questions about Simonina itself, they don’t remember you the way a companion does, and they won’t change a setting or delete anything for you — they’ll tell you where it is. You can switch between them under You.

Your account

Everything about you is on the You page: your name and the few lines you write about yourself, which are what a new companion knows about you before you’ve told her anything. Your language and timezone are there too — the timezone is how she knows what time it is where you are.

The same page changes your password and signs you out. If you can’t get in at all, ask for a new password from the sign-in screen and we’ll email you a way back in.
